Netherlands pulls plug on analog tv, first nation to switch to digital only

Dutch government will save around $14 million annually from the switch, the cost it used to pay to broadcast the free antenna service that was used by only 74,000 households. In US, whose digital target is 2009, about 21 million people use antenna service, & another 20 million would need digital converters. I say bring on IPTV!
