Nvidia has been working on a unified graphics architecture for 4 years. Today, they've unveiled it to the world and selling it to consumers. The GPU formerly known as G80 has arrived as the GeForce 8800, and it's anything but a conventional design. Performance and image quality blow away the competition without consuming too much power.
