Sony is expected to cut their prices for thier leading gaming console, PlayStation 2.
Price cut is expected before the end of this month from $149 to $129. Previous attempts had resulted success that happened with the PlayStation 2 and the PlayStation. Sony is trying out the strategy again to try promoting the new PlayStation 3 that is due to release in November 2006.
Sony's rival Microsoft's XBox might do the same thing as well just to be competetive.
